Friday, February 15, 2013
A meteorite trail was seen over Urals city of Chelyabinsk, Russia on February 15, 2013. Stricken by a sudden cosmic attack, people panicked and around 400 of them were injured. Most of them sought medical help because of light injuries caused by flying glass, Chelyabinsk city authorities said.
According to the news, a meteorite sent fireballs and space debris crashed to Earth which smashed windows and set off car alarms , injured locals and mobile phones worked only intermittently. Residents of Chelyabinsk heard an explosion, saw a bright light and then felt a shock wave as reported by a Reuters correspondent in the industrial city 1,500 kilometers east of Moscow. Some people say it felt like apocalypse. So December 21 is not really the end of the world. Would it be February 15, 2013?
